Camouflage

A day of jobs today interspersed with garden time as it was too lovely to be indoors all day. I made myself a latte as a reward and sat on the back step watching the birds in the elder tree. This dunnock was taking advantage of the warmth bringing out the bugs and sitting very still waiting for his moment. I wasn't as quick with the camera to catch him mid snap on a fly sadly. I like how he is camouflaged against his favourite habitat - the tree trunk.
