Tap, tap, tap, I looked out the window and saw a man hanging out his window, rattling the drainpipe and tapping the glass while anxiously looking off into the distance. If I had a better zoom you'd get a clearer view than this of the reason for his odd antics. The tiny family kitten was stranded on the nearby roof. Every so often it would take a few tentative steps downwards before edging backwards to the top when its bottle ran out.

The feline siege had reached a stalemate and before long the whole family were taking turns to try to coax it back to their window rather than take their chances with 40 vertical feet and the 9 lives rule. Like all good bystanders I went away for lunch and on returning the window was closed and the roof was 100% kittenless. Reckon it made it.
