A Sight for Sore Eyes

... I think that's what Pete really meant when he said this photo made his eyes hurt. I thought I'd make the most of the lovely weather and had a few hours on the Common. I saw a couple of Wheatear on my way up there - one for my patch list! No long lens though. saw some nice bugs too - ladybirds, shield bugs, honey and bumble bees. No macro with me. Some wonderful Fly Agaric. I might have blipped those already. I did manage to take a few pictures of a fine collection of butterflies on some Michaelmas Daisies, enjoying the afternoon sunshine. This is possibly not the best shot technically, but I couldn't resist the dizzying array of colours on this twofer!
