Sunset

An enjoyable afternoon visiting friends for a cup of tea and a catch-up. We sat in the garden chatting, and it was warm enough to sit just in T-shirts.

On the return home I noticed the low sun glancing across the fields and stopped to try and get my blip for the day. I couldn't really get the composition I wanted, but as the sun was about to dip below the horizon, I found this group of trees silhouetted against the colourful sky. Not a perfect grouping of trees: I would have preferred it if their full height was visible, but the more distant trees behind hid the shape of their trunks. Nevertheless, still an attractive sky.
