Wasdale.
This weekend was more of a social gathering for most people, swapping tales of hills done and future exploits. Despite staying in the east of the Lake district we travelled around to Wasdale so we could support our Friends John and Anne Nuttall on the completion of their second round of Wainwrights on Buckbarrow.
A very pleasant and easy walk which kept us under the cloud level of about 2000ft.
In the evening we had a talk and from one of the group about is trip across The Continental Divide Trail in the USA, a 2800 miles trip from the Canadian border to the border with Mexico. Now that's what I call along walk.
