A Very Hungry Caterpillar

A lazy Sunday spent typing up Library minutes and letters. Thankfully the thick misty rain disappeared for an hour so the girls and I headed up to the dam and a blip hunt . Saw this big hairy chap on the path. I did warn him as we left that these fine warm days were about to end and winter would be with us before the end of the week. Can't believe it's October and I am walking in t shirts and waterproofs. It is usually thick jumpers, hat and gloves by now. I presume this big chap will eventually become one of those large moths I blipped earlier in the year.
