The De-Brief.

Unmoothaj was second favourite in the 3.25 at Huntingdon. Still young and relatively untried, but a prospect for the future.

However the course had been inexplicably watered before the meeting rendering parts of the track soft. The consequence was that a number of horses that liked the going to be good were confused on hitting some soft spots.

Here you see Sean Qunlan, the jockey, having a post mortem with Pam Sly, the trainer and explaining what had happened. The horse was going well in the back straight and had started to pick up but faded towards the end.

Still, its early days and the owners are optimistic for something better next time.
