Autumn Shades Concert 2013

This is the event we were lucky enough to attend, and what a delight it proved to be. The sheer keyboard wizardry and humour of the special guest Dr Noel Rawsthorne and his erstwhile organ scholar and successor to the post of Organist at Liverpool Cathedral Professor Ian Tracey had us enthralled while the welcome and friendlinesss of the hosts, Makin organ manufacturer kept us amply fed and watered during the breaks.

I came away with a souvenir organ draw stop keyring (for an 'Octave' stop, of course) and a profound admiration for these two performers, seen here after their finale, a duet of Sinfonia to Cantata 29 'Wir Danken Dir'.
