I went to the Paris Worlds to see Jonathan compete for the last time.
He was pants but he was staying in my hotel and later on that night - wait for it - stood right beside me in the bar!!!!!

Last mention of the athletics for now - the Worlds were great this year, both from a UK medals / finalists point of view AND just for getting more people watching...I believe viewing figures were super and not just for Berlino, the Bolt and the, er, boy/babe. Mebees if I keep EVERYTHING crossed we'll get the Grand Prix back on proper telly instead of Eurosport Tiddlywinks channel.
