Breaking the news

Today was the day!
I told my manager that I will move to Switzerland in October!
She was not too happy but later on communicated to the others that I will leave.
I know that I have a lot here, friends, a lovely flat, my horse is happy, tons of things. But I hope that I will be more than happy in Switzerland. It's a fantastic opportunity. Plus closer to home. As a teenie I always wished one day to live in Canada or in Switzerland.
My neighbors comment when telling him that I move away: "It's the weather, aye?"

Downside today: My grandma refuses to eat and drink, already for four days. She's 94. Far away, I cannot do anything and feel pretty helpless.
