Bon Jovi

This was G's first Bon Jovi show.

We had to travel, so it was going to be a girls' weekend, but Q is having such a hard time without his mom that we all ended up in the car for a road trip.

Our tickets were good for G as we were the first row on the right aisle, our seats perpendicular to the stage. This was great because there was nobody standing directly in front of her.

She liked the song "Because We Can" and I liked "Thick as Thieves," both off the new album.

She was so tired at the end. She asked, "How long is this encore going to last?" I told her they still hadn't played "Livin' on a Prayer," so there would be at least one more, but we could leave any time. She stuck it out until almost the very end, but I wanted to get her out a little early to avoid all the crowding.

I think she liked the show, but the main idea is she experienced something that her mom loves to do.
