The Milky Way - Tekapo

Well we are here at Tekapo and its all on setting up for the convention.

The first thing to do was grab some men and put the tent up which will house the Salon, a little bit of a task as there was no instructions and was a no centre pole type although it did have two peaks in the roof ! After many helpful tips from everybody concerned !! We got it up.

In the evening we were treated to a clear star sparkling sky and some fantastic Astro photography and great Astro information from our three speakers.
This was a two minute exposure of the Milky Way .
