Leaving on a jet plane

So that's me then, off on my hols.

I was awake early again and did a bit more work but everything I need to do is done now.

Then up, to finish the packing, do some domestic stuff, eat, and book for #2 son and me to go to 'Top Gear Live' at the Hydro in January, reprising Jo'burg in 2010. £10.40 booking fee!!, per ticket.

We went to visit the folks on the way to the bus. Didn't really assuage my guilt. But Tom had been so things are moving on that front.

And then me and my bag (18.8 kg, I don't travel light) made it to EDI. It's been another really warm day, about 20 degrees so no heavy jacket.

The plane left 10 mins early and arrived at LGW even earlier but then we had to make 20 mins for a bus transfer. At least that meant my bag was on the carousel as I walked in to the terminal.

5 minute walk to the hotel for QI and a short night. Early start tomorrow, and a lot of back blips forecast.

Turkey here I come! !
