The Kawarau River, Cromwell

Today the walking group headed to Old Cromwell town where we parked our cars, and walked along the river towards Bannockburn.  Unfortunately on the way one of our members tripped over a tree root, and hurt her shoulder, so an ambulance was called, and took her to the local medical centre.  They put her arm in a sling, and sent her to Clyde where the nearest hospital is situated.  At this point in time, I haven't heard how she is, whether she has been admitted, or sent home after an xray.    It was VERY windy, and quite cold.
