Sunday: Seattle

After a wonderful breakfast in a local diner with Kendall, we said a fond, and heartfelt, farewell before heading north, to Seattle.

The weather has continued to be stunning and the blue skies are just amazing.  After settling ourselves in our accommodation, we took a walk into town to get our bearings.  There is something a little strange about being in such a built up city after having spent so much time in such wonderful countryside.  But even having been in Portland, the feel of the city here is very different.  

However, our accommodation has great views and I can see the twinkling lights of the city as I type.......but I do also have to tell you that we had the worst meal of our travels tonight.......
