I Chose The Road Less Traveled...
...Now Where the Hell Am I?
(I read that today and loved it and thought it perfect.)
My Dear Blip Friends,
Thank you!
Thank you for traveling with me the road less traveled.......getting lost in each others beautiful worlds..... I am always so touched every day when I look at your beautiful images and share in your lives .....it has become a highlight of my day.
I am used to having my socks blown off now and feel blessed to be in a community of such wonderful photographers...I feel constantly challenged to better my own to keep up with you. However holding each other in kindness through the rough times.....then celebrating with each other the good things/times and the triumphs has probably been the most wonderful thing for me.
Together we have witnessed the arrival of new life..furry.... feathered and our blessed little ones. We have also said goodbye to some of our blip friends and family of our blip friends. ........(so many blessings to Mimi on her journey).
Blip to me is a community of kind and loving people ...(who otherwise I would never of met all be it virtual) .........and a safe forum to reveal my inner sanctum...spill some of my beans.
This is an extra specially beautiful poem by Rumi (not the dog) for you my dear friends.
Much Love

Birdwings
Your grief for what you've lost lifts a mirror
up to where you are bravely working.
Expecting the worst, you look, and instead,
here's the joyful face you've been wanting to see.
Your hand opens and closes and opens and closes.
If it were always a fist or always stretched open,
you would be paralysed.
Your deepest presence is in every small contracting and expanding,
the two as beautifully balanced and coordinated
as birdwings.
