18.7C with thin cloud and a light breeze.

Apothecary7 was off work today. Tayside NHS public holiday. We went through to a retail park just this side of Dundee to have another look at dog beds for Maeve the Deerhound. We think she needs a new bed. Still haven't seen one we like, although they did have the same one she has for her upstairs bed.

On the way home we stopped at Broughty Ferry for coffee, then Apothecary7 set off to see her mum.

Left to our own devices Maeve and I went for a wander along the beach after lunch. We turned left when we got to the beach and had a look for Sea Glass and little bits of pots as we went. Maeve had a paddle where the Craigmill Burn runs across the beach into the sea. We found some nice bits of pot with blue and one little piece with purple.

Apothecary7 is safely home and I am off to cook dinner !
