Mystery?

Spotted this at lunchtime (NB: clue) and decided to give it a go with a fair bit of processing. It's probably blindingly obvious what it is to everyone else, but to me it looks obscure enough to maybe bamboozle a few people who'd be amused by a bit of guessing :-)
