a day off

Today I met up with a friend who started off "life" as one of my boys teachers a few years ago.

We drank coffee, caught up and talked gardens. It was really nice to see her again. Facebook is good to keep tabs on life but doesn't quite "do it" the same as actually getting together!

I took a few photos in my garden this afternoon. I thought this one would appeal to her, I know she follows my journal.

It's good to take a day to yourself sometimes and do nice things. The supermarket can wait until tomorrow.
