River Eden after rain

The Eden passes through its gorge at Stenkrith, Kirkby Stephen. I blipped this in the summer when all the potholes in the bed were visible. Not now; the river has significantly increased in volume and is now tinged with brown as it brings with it peat from the uplands to the south. The water roars through the gorge, really spectacular.
