9th Year Together, Whaaaa?

Today Doug and I celebrated our 9th year together. We rung it in exactly as our 16 and 17 year old selves probably would have, with a breaky date!!

We went to Waffle House and both had a great breakfast. Oh, Waffle House. Plenty of drama and people to watch. We really enjoyed it... just like we would have out in the sticks many years ago.

I can't even believe it's been 9 years. That's crazy. 9 years with my first love and the first guy to take me out on a date. Wowzer. Not the standard norm these days for sure, but I'm one lucky lady to have been blessed with a love like this. Who knew as teenagers we would be right.
