Rag Doll

Woke up to the charming news that someone had broken into our car last night and taken our sat nav. They also took a pair of sunglasses, which though expensive, were broken beyond repair (I had sat on them), so useless.

They very kindly left the children's Lemony Snicket CD's, though they are all now covered with silvery finger print dust. The police couldn't find any prints, saying the only traces were of glove marks.

In their search for valuables, they opened three compartments I didn't know existed, and threw every school newsletter, scrap of paper with a postcode scribbled on, shopping list, apple core and pay- and-display ticket on the floor of the car. And it turns out there was a huge amount. A carrier bags worth in fact.

One of the Police Officers told me that they had also taken a sat nav from one of our neighbours cars.

Did some sewing. Am thinking of making my God-daughters a doll each so am experimenting. These are a pair of legs!
