The Box Tree Restaurant, Ilkley.

This is Ilkley’s famous Michelin starred Box Tree Restaurant, founded in 1963, where quiet voiced celebrity chef Marco Pierre White trained. The blue banner on the left of the picture is advertising the Ilkley Literature Festival which is taking place 3rd – 20th of this month. Now in its fortieth year, it is the largest and oldest literary festival in the north of England and attracts a host of literary luminaries and visitors.
