Big Ben

I haven't had a proper visit to downtown London since about 2003. Today was one of the most gorgeous days of the summer, and I spent it doing a walking tour of sorts with my friend Tom. We ate lunch by the fountains in Trafalgar Square, had a late afternoon drink on the grass behind the London Eye, and visited Platform 9 3/4 (temporarily relocated within King's Cross due to construction. Fail), all while talking about Harry Potter and the profound effect it's had on our lives. Basically it was perfect.
