When you've got an itch ...

This wagtail was having a right old scratch.

Lovely day again and lots of birdlife about, even though we are between two seasons - there are some winter visitors here, but there are also swallows still around - I don't know whether this means we are going to get a precocious winter or no winter at all.
I must admit, I'd prefer the latter ...
