We buy them: When we want to cheer someone up When we want to cheer ourselves up When we forget a birthday ; shit, buy flowers quickly We send them to our loved ones to let them know how much we care and if lucky will also receive them occasionally from our loved ones (very occasionally, what??) We give them to welcome a new life and to say goodbye to one that's leaving We use them to decorate cakes To adorn our hair in the summer (daisy chains, what??)
