Gateway to Europe

I had a wonderful day a good start to the week and walked approx. 8 miles. It's been a while since I walked this massive loop, over the farm heading to the cliff tops. Across the cliff tops to Newhaven, down into the harbour then back along the river to Piddinhoe village and back up over the farm. I sat and had my lunch overlooking the entrance to the harbour, Newhaven fort to my left and the coast guard station to my right. Lovely and warm not at all Autumnal so maybe this is the last day of the fine weather!
