Sea Bass

Juno walked early, haircut and then to football.

The girls were at home and have had a long run of defeats, I told them at training they were good enough to win today.

Anyway a few changes that did not work out and we were 1-0 down, positional changes and the team settled. Conceded another 2-0 down at halftime.

They were playing good football just not taking the chances.

We started to get into the game and pressing the goals. The ref booked the goalie for a challenge and soon afterwards a penalty for the girls and another yellow for the keeper. Penalty converted and now against 10.

Rather than rushing they kept trying to play and eventually they won through, smiley faces at the end, confidence restored I hope.

Eco girls and I headed down the coast so I could go for a paddle, a very high tide and a blustery wind made it fun.

A quiet evening in.
