When is the spider installed during manufacture?

Picked up the title from Radio 2 yesterday when someone had texted in to ask just exactly when during the manufacture of a car was the spider installed in the wing mirror? When we went out this morning both mirrors on both cars had webs as well as an extensive web around my rear wiper blade. It's great to see them at this time of year.

Went swimming today, testing out the knee in the water. Went well, managed 52 25m lengths with no ill effects. So I think I'll be going there again tomorrow. Enjoyed, eventually, the cappachino after the swim too. Had to take it back as it was almost 1/2 froth. Very inconsistent product from most of the major coffee houses, invariably have to take it back for one reason or another.

Then into town to collect clothes ordered from M & S and buy ingredients for the Christmas cake which Susan plans to make this week. All the clothes fitted and looked nice according to the arbitor of style (Susan).

Spent a happy afternoon peeling and salting 5 pounds of pickling onions.
