Loch Vaa
A day of light duties. Early evening and Caley needed another walk. The beauty of where we are based is you can walk from the door and in no time be in rolling heather moorland, birch and Scots Pine forest or secluded lochs. Before departing I had checked the intended route on Google Earth and anticipated walking past three nice wee lochs.
The first one was very low and had a shore line perimeter of mud, The next one had dried up completely and was like a field of long grass; not unlike the flood plains at Laggan Reservoir. The third had a more permanent feel to it but was very low too.
Caley fancies an early start tomorrow. I'll see what I can do to accommodate him.
