The Buckstane
I have left in the description of what the Buckstane purports to be to the plaque above the stone. A marker of Feudal times, a place where buckhounds were released from when the King of Scotland used to hunt in this area, and also a marker of the old Roman Road.
Today it sits in the Buckstone area of Edinburgh, and I pass this en-route to the paths over and around the Braid Hills.
