Tired Bud

Turned out a really lovely afternoon after a poor start this morning. Tuesday I spend volunteering at the Highland Hospice so the dogs are waiting impatiently for their walk when I get back. They were so energetic racing up and down and round about, in the stream, up the bank, through the undergrowth, trying to play with a very crotchety black cocker who was not at all friendly and finally chasing each other round in circles with Bud barking as loudly as he could. I do believe the dipper was tying to do a bit of dipping in the stream but stood no chance of peace so he disappeared into the bushes. This is Bud near the end of the walk, covered in water, mud and seeds!
