Typhoon Fitow

Its been raining for 3 days and alot of Shanghai and its surrounding cities were flooded. Biked to work this morning throw standstill traffic and flooded streets. Wore my yellow rainboots, my rain jacket AND my red poncho and still got drenched! Came to school, changed and left my poncho and boots in my room only to have a student shriek a few hours later because she thought it was an actual person! Ha! Also my wall was leaking this morning. Problem was promptly fixed when two guys brought in a pail, some plaster powder and a gatorade bottle of water, mixed it and used his hands to patch up the leak in my ceiling while it was still storming all day... It worked though. No more leaks today but tomorrow may be another story.
