Heron in the Woodland Gardens, Bushy Park

People were talking about how the weather is going to change from tomorrow so I thought I had better get out and take some photographs of the Autumn before it all changes.
I was so busy taking photographs of trees that I came across this heron so suddenly and yet he did not move. It looked like he has spotted something in the water and slowly edged up to the bank. He stood waiting for a while and then gave up and flew away.
