Don't Follow

Evening all.

I was leaning over a bridge admiring the view when I saw this "chicken of the sea" standing on a fishing peg at a local nature reserve.

So I cautiously stalked it to the peg, but a wandering dog scared it off to the next peg along. Silently I followed to the next peg and watched as it flew away when it spotted me, the I followed it to a high branch in a tree but again, it eluded me and flew into the sunset.

So, I packed up and headed back to the bridge to cross it and go home.....

i'll know where to wait next time.
