The (unfinished) painting

Here it is - not yet finished, but the bulk done! Once the bit on the foreground, and all of the background are done it will look tons better (hopefully)!

The car in the painting is the one pictured in my very first blip.

This is quite an inspirational true story.

A man in the local Riley group owns that very Riley - the one which his own father owned years ago, but it was sold when he was just a few months old - something that his father rather regretted doing.

Years on, the son goes on a hunt for his father's old Riley - it takes years and years to find it, but when it was found it's miles away and off the road, after suffering an electrical fire. Sadly, the father passed away before the car was rediscovered, but the son bought it - it is now on the road and one of my favourite Rileys out there, not just because of its (beautiful) looks, but it's story.
Every vintage car carries a story, I'm sure Tigg can rectify that.
