Fall at Lake Michigan

Our last day in Chicago was finally cool and crisp, rather than close. Wandered into Lincoln Park and out to the lake-front before stopping for lunch. Most of the trees are still green but this one is already completely yellow; must be because it's more exposed. Either way; now the temperatures seem to be on the way down, I'm sure it won't be alone for long. Flight hem was right on time - arrived in Phoenix about 7:00pm to 93F, but the temps are heading down here too - it's supposed to be about 75F on Thursday. Here's hoping: the pool is already too cold for swimming (at least for us) so, in my mind, summer is over and I'm ready for cooler weather.
