Railway Lamp

I think this old lamp came from my Uncle Billy or my Great Uncle Peter.My Great Uncle Peter worked on the railway all his life.He lived until I was in my late teens and my main memory of him in his house in Aigburth is eccles cakes and lemonade.I also remember what would have then been called the parlour lined with guide books to all parts of the British Isles.His holidays and spare time was spent travelling all over the country by train.He never married or had a car.Finding something like this can bring back a lot of memories.

Very quiet on the sales front so far this week.I have a lot of spraying to get done.Mainly protective but some curative chemicals needed around the nursery.
