Cilla's Birthday treat

Our son's Beagle is his "baby" she was 7 last week so on his day off work this week we took her for a treat. We had an early start, the weather didn't look promising but by the time we got to Ravenglass it was a lovely autumn day.
We went up to Eskdale on the La'al Ratty where we had a walk to the church and back to the station via the woods and river.
We returned to Ravenglass on an open carriage as the weather had got quite warm this afternoon.
We were lucky enough to get a different steam train on each journey.
