Sri Lanka Sapphire

Not sure why I know this, but I bought this pendant 6 years ago today. On our honeymoon in Sri Lanka. Oh happy days! It feels like about 6 weeks ago never mind 6 years, but then again I can't remember a life with no kids in it so it's a bit strange.

I remember we went to an elephant orphanage in the morning and then out for some lunch (which we were all a bit scared to eat!) Then we went on to an area where they mined these sapphires (I think they were called black sapphire??) and I really wanted some form of jewellery as a memento and fell in love with this.

It was a lovely day out.
