Another Garden Surprise

It would appear that my garden produces nothing but small, round green things. Some are quite well-known, like gooseberries, others are unusual but easily identified, like potato fruits, while others are a bit of a mystery.

Here's another small, round green thing that I noticed while gardening today, one of two on the Japanese Quince that only flowered this year.

It's definitely worth letting nature take its course.
