Blue Peter and Bumble Bee
We are in the middle of a nasty little cold snap. There is snow on the Richmond Range further up the Wairau Valley. I do hope we avoid any frosts as the grapevines are in bud-burst and unseasonable frosts can do a lot of damage.
I visited my good friends at Brooksdale up the Omaka Valley. Dawn and I toured their extensive gardens and I enjoyed photographing flowers of all shapes and sizes. Then I had to choose which to blip. As all shades of purple are my favourite colours the lovely rhododendron Blue Peter won the day. A bonus was the visiting bumble bee.
