A Long Day
One of the few good things about commuting in the Autumn are the incredible sunrises. They seem to peak just as I leave for the station, and instantly make me feel far more appreciative of being up and out at that time. I'll have to make the most of them as soon the sky will still be dark when I leave. Today, the sunrise set the day up nicely; I had a really productive day in the office, and then head into town for a wander round the shops looking for a friend's birthday present before I treated myself to an incredible dinner at Food For Thought. This lovely veggie café has never let me down, and tonight's Autumnal Squash Gratin was no exception! I then met Ellie at the theatre; we went to see Chimerica, and it was one of the best things I've seen for a very long time. If you can still get tickets, I really recommend going. It's very entertaining, thought provoking, and the set is brilliant. Afterwards, we got the bus back to Liv St for our train and I really felt like I was in a special capital city; I felt the same when I was walking around earlier in the evening. I think living in London made me stop seeing it in a way. Tonight it was looking beautiful.
