Empty and full

I am astonished how empty parts of Hampshire remain, particularly on the hills. People do use the long distance trails for walking and cycling, though mostly at the weekend, but very few people live here and the land is left to itself 11 months of the year.

Today on my way out to lunch with one of my sisters I came upon this barn. Well, at least it was full, but it was plonked in an enormous sweep of the emptiest country you can imagine - so weird just 3 miles out of the city.

After which, we had a very nice lunch - arrived empty, left full. Just as it should be :)
