This was a beautiful Rouge Cardinal earlier in the year. Now equally attractive it has become a last minute blip for today.

At Grasmere this afternoon I had only taken 6 photos when there was a downpour. The camera got wet (so did I but that wasn't important). I wasn't too happy with any of the photos so it was out into the garden to see what I could find.

A bit of computer wizardry (not my usual style) has been performed here.
