New turbine

This is an experimental, vertical-axis wind turbine at the college "energy park". Today it was flying round like b****ry (that = "very fast" to the lexiconally challenged!) The idea is that the turbine catches the wind from every angle and does not 'waste' energy in re-orientating the turbine blades as the wind changes direction. I love this technology!
