Minchmoor

Six of us walked from Traquair up to the summit of the Minchmoor (567m) and back to Traquair via Glengaber and Fingland Burn. We were very lucky with the weather, it was blowing a gale but was dry all day, with lots of sun. The wind certainly blew all the cobwebs away. The HG always likes to add a stone to the cairn on summits.

Had a quick drink at the Traquair Arms before heading home via Peebles and Biggar, a nice journey in itself.

Home to a fry up of leftovers, very delicious........
