Habitat Creation

Today I was working with a local environmental NGO called Etna. Our task was to clear the long grasses in a boggy area to make a better habitat for snipe and to help improve biodiversity from a plant perspective (chopping the grass down gives other plants an chance to come up!). It was a fun day and I think there will be many more like it. I've tried to give some idea of the scale of the project in this photo.. can you spot the person?
