Was it Whitworth it ?

Whitworth Hall, Manchester (yep, another Uni) which is named after it's benefactor Joseph Whitworth of screw thread fame. The sighted amongst you will see that this is a cack handed attempt at combining two shots in order to get detail in both the hall and the stained glass windows. What's make it worse is that it's taken me days to get any kind of result let alone a good one hence the question in the title. I actually just about think it's worth it because it made me have a go at something I haven't tried yet and to learn a few things in the process. And I think that if you look at it as a nice picture of a stained glass window with an interesting surround, it just about works.
