Another busy day

Chenrezig practice first thing this morning set the tone for the rest of the day, which although hectic had a gentler, more manageable feel.
This photograph was taken in Khayelitsha, a massive "township" which boasts the worlds highest murder rate; poverty, hardship and also some of the most generous people I have ever met. This garden is part of an empowerment project, where people are taught to grow vegetables for home gardens and where they can buy seedlings, compost etc. I usually buy seedlings for under R10, which barely buys you a coke these days.
So proud of Miss C who won an merit certificate at her school's awards evening (i.e. 80% aggregate for year). May you be refreshed in the morn. x
